 (September 23, 1939 – August 14, 1988) 

was an American 

guitaris

and

 blues rock musician. 

A pioneer of the

 Telecaster sound,

 Buchanan worked as 

a sideman 

and as a 

solo artist, 

with two 

gold albums

 early in his career

 and two

 later solo albums

 that made it 

to the 

Billboard chart.

(August 14, 1941 – January 18, 2023)

American singer, 

songwriter, 

and guitarist. 

He first

 found fame 

as a member of 

the Byrds,

 with whom he helped 

pioneer the genres

 of folk rock 

and psychedelia

 in the mid-1960s,

and later as

 part of the 

supergroup 

Crosby, Stills & Nash

who helped popularize

 the California sound 

of the 1970s.

 In addition to his music, 

Crosby was known

 for his outspoken 

personality,

 politics, 

and personal troubles; 

he was sometimes 

depicted as emblematic 

of the counterculture

 of the 1960s

Dan Fogelberg : Souvenirs

 Daniel Grayling Fogelberg

 (August 13, 1951 – December 16, 2007)

 was an American singer, 

songwriter, 

and 

multi-instrumentalist 

widely known for

 his 1970s 

and 

1980s

 soft rock hits, 

including

 "Longer"

 (1979), 

"Same Old Lang Syne

(1981), 

and

 "Leader of the Band"

 (1982).

Cancer Diagnosis 

and Death

In May 2004, 

Fogelberg was

 diagnosed with 

advanced prostate cancer. 

After undergoing therapy, 

his cancer went

 into partial remission. 

In August 2005, 

Fogelberg announced

 the success of 

his cancer treatments.

 However,

 his cancer returned 

and on 

December 16, 2007, 

Fogelberg died 

at his home

 in Deer Isle, Maine, 

at the age of only 56.

 Fogelberg was cremated

 and his ashes

 were scattered on 

Eggemoggin Reach

off the coast 

of Maine.
