Pink Floyd's
early years,
the period when
the band released
legendary albums such as
A Saucerful of Secrets,
Ummagumma,
Atom Heart Mother,

and during which they
produced a series of
breathtaking sessions
and live shows for
FM radio broadcast.
The Pink Floyd session
recorded at
Maida Vale Studios
on
December 2, 1968,
and broadcast on
Radio One's
Top Gear program
is included.
Also featured is
the band's
May 1969 concert,
recorded at
the Paris Theatre
in London and
broadcast as a
John Peel 'Sunday Concert'.
It concludes with
a mesmerizing
1969 performance of
'Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun'
and
'A Saucerful of Secrets'
from the Forum
Musiques de France.
