that Billy
and his band
at the time
(Larry Russell, Rhys Clark, and Al Hertzberg)
recorded in
Los Angeles
at Paramount
Recording Studios
on
Santa Monica Boulevard
shortly after performing
at the famous
Sigma Studio radio concert
(Live on WMMR).
This was after
Cold Spring Harbor
(1971)
had been released,
but before
Piano Man
(1973).
Bassist
Larry Russell
found these in 2014
while going through
old stored items.
Larry digitized it
then gave it to
MIke Stutz,
who started and runs
the excellent
Billy Joel fan forum
on Facebook,
